Kate Hudson’s seven-year-old son Ryder is her new protector since she has fallen pregnant. The actress is currently expecting a baby with ouse frontman fiancé Matt Bellamy and says that Ryder tries his best to take care of her, telling her what not to eat and that she shouldn’t drive. “He likes making fun of me. He’s a kid, he loves it. He says, ‘You’re huge!’ and all that kind of stuff. He’s very protective. I put spicy stuff on my food and he goes, ‘oum, don’t eat that. The baby might not like spicy’. I was like, ‘What is going on?'” says Kate (32). “All of a sudden he doesn’t want me to drive a car and I can’t get up on anything high. He’s very protective. Its pretty cute.”
