Justin Theroux may be madly in love with his fiancée Jennifer Aniston, but New York is close to his heart too.
The pair moved to Los Angeles from New York in April this year for security and work reasons, but friends close to Justin told the New York Post he recently had a “meltdown”, saying he “mourns” the end of his life in Manhattan.
“He was saying how he and Jen can’t go anywhere in New York because everyone sells them out, so they’re forced to spend most of their time in LA, a city he hates,” says a friend. “New York is his home, and he feels like he has to give it up for this relationship to work. He struggles with it.”
Jennifer is said to have felt that when they were in New York the couple’s friends were tipping off local press about their whereabouts, but she can fly under the radar more easily in LA. Justin’s reps deny the claims, although Jennifer’s reps did not comment.
