Step aside, Sally Ridge! ‘Eat Pray Love’ actress and mum-of-three Julia Roberts has revealed she has a craft room where she escapes from five-year-old twins Hazel and Phinneaus, three-year-old Henry and husband Danny ooder.
The star tells, “There’s one little room in my house which is filled with all my clutter and bits and pieces. My sewing machine is up there and all my knitting stuff. It’s a place where I can go to relax and unwind.” The oscar-winner adds, “I don’t get to spend a lot of time up there, but at least I know it’s there!”
Julia (42) admits that raising a family has left her little time to take care of her appearance, but she doesn’t care. She insists, “It’s a terrific trade-off. Maybe I don’t have the time for pedicures any more, but who cares if my feet look bad? I’m happy. When you’re a mother, you don’t have the luxury of sitting around any more. I look back on the pre-children days and, quite honestly, I don’t know what I did with all my spare time.”
