Singer and actress Jessica Simpson is in love, and says she is enjoying the ordinariness of her relationship with new boyfriend Eric Johnson. Jessica, who divorced first husband Nick Lachey in 2005, has been dating the football player for several months but says she isn’t ready to say he’s The one just yet. “As far as Eric and I go, we’re just best friends. He’s my dude! I love him,” says the former reality television star. “This relationship is just normal, thank God. He’s very, very supportive. I couldn’t ask for a better man in my life right now.” Despite her enthusiastic claims, Jessica is hesitant to go any further in public statements about the latest man in her life. “I’m not gonna jinx my own self,” she says. “He’s the one for me right now! I’m very happy. I’m in a great place and if right now could last forever, I’d take it.”
