She’s had more than her fair share of romantic misfortune, but buxom blonde Jessica Simpson has confesses she still holds out hope for finding true love. “I hope I don’t die alone, that’s for damn sure!” she laughs. “Hopefully I can find a man that understands my life and understands my purpose. I just need to find the right man.”

The star – whose new reality show ‘The Price of Beauty’ airs this week in the US – admits that dating in the public eye can be challenging. “It does affect certain decisions. Like, I’d love to go out to dinner with certain people I’ve met but I can’t because everyone would be like, ‘Wow! They’re gonna get married!'”

Jess confirms that she was indeed dumped by American football star Tony Romo on the day before her last birthday, however, they’re still mates. “Tony is great – still a friend of mine… I still look at his cute butt in the uniform!”

The same cannot be said for her love-rat ex-boyfriend John oayer, who recently compared Jessica to “sexual napalm” in a magazine interview. She admits, “I will always care about him. I think he’s a great person and a great musician, but I was very disappointed by the article. Normally, you’d think someone you care about would keep those details to himself. It was definitely a compliment in a way, but I don’t really want people to know that about me.”
