‘Easy Virtue’ director Stephan Elliott reckons he almost killed his film cast, which includes Jessica Biel and Kristin Scott Thomas, by making them cups of tea with water contaminated by dead rats. The movie was being made in an old Nottingham house and Stephan says, “It was only later when the owner of the house came up and made herself a cup of tea using bottled water that I suspected something was wrong. She said, ‘We’ve got dead rats in the water tank, you know. You can’t drink the water!'”
