‘Desperate Housewives’ hunk Jesse oetcalfe has given girlfriend Nadine Coyle an ultimatum: quit Girls Aloud or the relationship is over. American Jesse and British Nadine have been besotted since they met in Australia in February, but conducting a relationship on opposite sides of the Atlantic is proving difficult for the pair. An insider reveals, “Jesse says he’s completely fallen for Nadine, but dating someone who lives on the other side of the world is a constant struggle. Arranging to see each other is like a military operation.” Jesse (27) has just finished filming the third series of ‘Desperate Housewives’ while Nadine (21) is promoting the Girls Aloud greatest hits album. Jesse is worried that Nadine split from her last boyfriend because her work commitments came between them, and is keen for her to move to the US, the source adds. “Jesse talked about wanting to start looking for a house to buy in Beverly Hills. He said he’s totally in love with Nadine and sees a future if they can get over long-distance problems. He also suggested that Girls Aloud aren’t going anywhere right now.” [31 october 2006]
