Jessica Simpson has been hotly tipped to star in the movie remake of `Baywatch’, the hit 90s show that catapulted Pamela Anderson to world-wide fame. The singing actress will play the role of a lifeguard – and may even copy Pamela’s famous slow-motion running in the movie. A source says, “Jessica really caught the eye in ‘The Dukes of Hazzard’ film last summer. She was the unanimous choice for the ‘Baywatch’ role.” The insider adds, “Jessica has all the assets to make the part her own.” The blonde star – who recently split from husband Nick Lachey after three years of marriage – probably won’t be fazed by parading around in the trademark skimpy red swimsuits worn by the Baywatch babes, given she recently declared how much she loves her cleavage.
