Jennifer Hudson has revealed her murdered mother is her guardian angel. Darnell Donnerson was tragically killed, along with Jen’s brother and nephew, late last year, however, the ‘Dreamgirls’ singer and actress – who gave birth to her first child, son David, three months ago – says her mum is a constant help in her day-to-day life.
Jen explains, “I feel her with me all the time. Every day, I’m like, ‘Wow! I didn’t realise I was so like my mother until now.’ oy mother was the strongest person I’ve ever seen.” Speaking about her young son, Jen adds, “Being a mum is the most amazing thing ever. But it’s hard to put into words because it’s something you have to experience to understand. I love every minute of it.”
