Jane Fonder underwent surgery for a knee replacement earlier this week but it didn’t stop her from twittering. From the hospital, the 71-year-old actress tweetered: “Lying on a guerney [sic]. Drugs are starting to hit. Wheeee. So long left knee. You’re toast!” Fonda also posted a photograph of her left knee, marked with the doctor’s surgical markings. The legendary actress’ knee has been replaced with a titanium rod and a ceramic joint, and she will regain 80 percent of her knee’s mobility. This is not enough to stop Jane who says, “By this time next year, I will have come out with a whole new line of workout products for maintaining muscle mass and flexibility and I will be doing them myself. 80 percent my ass!”
