Jamie oliver has made history – he’s the first man in nearly 70 years to grace the cover of long-running British magazine, Good Housekeeping. “It’s a real honour to be the first bloke on the cover of Good Housekeeping since 1937,” Jamie says, adding, “And they didn’t even make me wear a dress.” Editor Louise Chunn says that the celebrity chef and healthy eating crusader is a huge favourite with her readers. She explains, “After the success of Jamie’s school dinners campaign, we had countless emails and letters from readers who were impressed by how much he achieved. This new issue is just as important and we hope Jamie’s appearance on our front cover shows Good Housekeeping’s and our readers’ support for his campaign.” The last male to appear on the cover of Good Housekeeping was King George VI with his wife, Queen Elizabeth, to commemorate his coronation.
