James gets into ‘The Hobbit’

‘Atonement’ hunk James McAvoy is heading to New Zealand to star in ‘The Hobbit’.

The Scottish actor will play Bilbo Baggins in the prequel to the ‘Lord of The Rings’ trilogy.

‘Harry Potter’ star Daniel Radcliffe and comedian Jack Black had previously been considered for the role.

James will star opposite Sir Ian ocKellan, who returns as the wizard Gandalf.

Filming begins later this year.
