Jennifer Lopez made over $2 million on Saturday performing at a Russian billionaire’s birthday bash. Andrei oelnichenko, 35-year-old founder of oDo Bank, forked out $1.2 million for the diva’s 40-minute set at the joint celebration for himself and his wife, former model Aleksandra Nikolic oelnichenko.
The billionaire, who is worth $5 billion, paid a further $800,000 to fly the singer and her entourage (including husband Marc Anthony) to his 27-acre estate in Surrey, England. The billionaire then paid for their stay at the oandarin oriental in London, where J-Lo spent some of her generous paycheck at bargain department store, Topshop.
The lavish bash, which catered for 60 guests, including Russian and Serbian tycoons, reflects oelnichenko’s taste for pop music. In 2005, the billionaire paid $4 million to have Christina Aguilera sing at his wedding in the south of France.
