It seems celebrities aren’t immune to the recession – Jeninifer Lopez is pulling the plug on a line of clothing she promotes, apparently thanks to the tough economic times. After six years her Sweetface line is halting production. It started in 2003 as an urban streetwear spin-off to another line, JLo by Jennifer Lopez, but soon became high-end contemporary wear. Jennifer’s company says it doesn’t spell the end of Sweetface forever – the clothing will be relaunched at some stage, but no date has been fixed. It hardly means Jennifer is down and out though. She still has the JLo by Jennifer line and six highly successful perfumes.
