‘Grey’s Anatomy’ star Isaiah Washington, whose contract was not renewed for season four, claims that American TV network ABC are making a big mistake. Isaiah says that co-star TR Knight, who plays Dr George o’oally, should have been the one let go for creating a negative working environment after complaining about an alleged homophobic slur. “They fired the wrong guy,” the 43-year-old actor claims. “I was not fired for making homophobic slurs. I did everything I said I would do. I offered to go to counseling, to do a public service announcement. I wanted everyone to know I was remorseful.” [25 June 2007]
