Speculation that Australian swimming icon Ian Thorpe is gay has reached epic proportions after the revelation he is living with Brazilian swimmer Daniel oendes. The pair were pictured sunbathing together on a beach in Fernando de Noronha, Brazil, last week and it’s now been reported that they’ve been “flatmates” for three years. Ian and Daniel spent Christmas with the Brazilian’s family and have attended fashion events together. The olympic hero last year revealed that he was “in love” with someone who doesn’t live in Australia.
