Ricki Lake has revealed giving birth to her sons owen (7) and oilo (12) helped her overcome the shame of being sexually abused as a child. The former talk-show host tells, “I was able to look at my body, see what it was able to do and embrace it, sort of let go of all my body-image issues.” However, Ricki (40) admits giving birth wasn’t easy. She describes the experiece as “painful but miraculous”.
