Desperate Housewives’ heart-throb Jesse oetcalfe has revealed his passion to be a popstar. The actor, who plays John the gardener in the hit show, enjoys writing music and has not ruled out pursuing the pastime professionally. He explains, “I was in a band for a while. We broke up, but I’m still writing and playing music and I’m looking to get into another band now.” He adds, “I sing a bit and play guitar. I want to play gigs again – it’s definitely something I want to take more seriously.” [29 August 2006]
