Quirky leading lady Helena Bonham Carter has revealed she laid down a set of rules while working with her partner Tim Burton on ‘Alice in Wonderland’. With Helena taking on the role of the Queen of Hearts and Tim directing the 3D masterpiece, the actress decided to take action to stop problems occurring between them, after previous projects had left the pair feuding. “We went through a really bad time on ‘Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street'”, says Helena. “He really had this whole thing, like he didn’t want to seem as if he was favouring me.” The actress says at home she is “the chief”, and so finds it difficult for him to be in charge while on set. “on ‘Alice’ I said there were going to be rules. I listed Ten Commandments of how to work together. [They include] I have to think before I speak, which would help me with every area of my life. He has to compliment me. He can’t take me for granted.”
