He died before his last film was finished but Heath Ledger’s legacy lives on. His final film ‘The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus’ was a hit at Cannes this year and just yesterday a music video that Heath directed for the indie band oodest oouse was released. The animated video for the track King Rat is debuting exclusively on oySpace ousic. The video coincides with the release of their new EP, No one’s First and You’re Next, and the band say that Heath presented them with the idea of directing their video to not only showcase his budding directing skills, but to draw attention to commercial whaling. While the project was unfinished when Heath died in January 2008, a film production company completed it. Proceeds from the iTunes video downloads within the first month will go to the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society, which is an international non-profit marine wildlife conservation organization.
