Gwyneth Paltrow has been named the world’s best-dressed woman by People magazine.
The Shakespeare in Love actress, who turns 40 in a couple of weeks, beat many women far younger than her to take out the title including style icon Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge.
According to Gwyneth’s stylist, the secret of the mother-of-two’s success is the old maxim “less is more”. Elizabeth Saltzman told the magazine that the wife of Coldplay frontman Chris Martin was not a slave to trends. “She doesn’t do fringe,” she said. “She has a uniform. It’s simple, not overdone.”
