No Doubt singer Gwen Stefani admits she felt so “gross” after giving birth, that she could no longer write music. The 41-year-old was so miserable with her body after having second son Zuma in August 2008, she felt too “out of touch” to write any new material.
Gwen also has another son Kingston (4) with husband Gavin Rossdale. She admits going back on stage was tough as she was singing old songs, which made her emotional. “I felt so bad because you’ve got this whole band waiting, but I couldn’t write. So we said, ‘Lets go on tour.’ We had no new single, we hadn’t been on stage together for, like, five years and every night I’d get teary-eyed because of those songs.”
