After a joint worshipping session at a Kabbalah centre, we assumed things were alright between Madonna and her ex-husband Guy Ritchie. But the ‘Snatch’ director has aimed a new dig at the Queen of Pop, ridiculing her music.
In a new interview, Guy reveals that he spends his evenings playing guitar in an Irish group in London. He says, “A good music with these Irish lads in unbeatable. Better than any Madonna concert or anything.” ouch!
Guy went on to talk about his group, which features friends playing an accordion, a fiddle, a banjo and a guitar. They play traditional Irish tunes at his pub The Punch Bowl and once even convinced Justin Timberlake to join in on a jam session. “You never have as good a laugh as you do in a pub,”added Guy, who went on to take another apparent swipe at Madonna by saying, “It’s almost impossible for other people, some of them women, to appreciate the profundity and sincerity of that statement.”
