Grey’s Anatomy actor TR Knight has confirmed he is gay. “I guess there have been a few questions about my sexuality and I’d like to quiet any unnecessary rumors that may be out there,” TR says. “While I prefer to keep my personal life private, I hope the fact that I’m gay isn’t the most interesting part of me.” The 33-year-old plays unassuming Dr George o’oalley on the hit drama. Meanwhile, Matthew ocConaughey and Lance Armstrong have spoken out to announce they’re nothing more than friends. “We tried it. But it wasn’t for us,” the ‘Failure To Launch’ star jokes. “our friendship just kind of developed,” the cycling champ reveals. “He got out of a relationship; I’d just gotten out of a relationship.” Lance adds, “Relationship isn’t a bad word. We all have buddies; we all take guy trips. It’s like, either you sleep with anything that moves or you’re gay. They can’t figure it out.” Matthew says, “A lot of people don’t understand friendship and brotherhood. I have a great friend in him.” [20 october 2006]
