Michael’s fiancée, Apprentice star Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth, released a statement saying Michael died of complications from a heart attack he suffered in July. Omarisa had managed to save Duncan’s life by performing CPR on him, but he had remained in hospital and his condition deteriorated.

The star received an Academy Award nomination for his role as a prisoner John Coffey in The Green Mile, and went on to have roles in films such as Sin City and Planet of the Apes.
