‘The X-Files’ actress Gillian Anderson is returning to her science-fiction roots with a role in ‘Doctor Who’. The 40-year-old star is in talks for a one-off guest part as a villain who will fight the doctor. A TV insider reveals, “Gillian onbviously has a massive sci-fi following, so it’d be a major coup. The show is keen for the doctor to have lots of new enemies and Gillian would be a glamorous and impressive addition. It’d undoubtedly be regarded as one of the greatest sci-fi moments if the star of ‘The X-Files’ clashed with the doctor.”
