George Michael has been caught apparently sleeping at traffic lights – then crashing into a bollard. The singer – who was caught sleeping in his car in February and was allegedly involved in a hit and run with his neighbours’ cars over Easter ¬- was found slumped at the wheel by a fellow driver, who watched George’s car remained stationary in front of traffic lights as they changed from red to green and back again. The driver photographed George as he woke him up, then as the singer pulled away and appeared to knock over a road bollard. “He was sweating heavily and had his iPod on, that’s probably why he didn’t hear all the angry tooting behind him,” the witness says. He adds, “He got going again-but was weaving all over the place. Then he hit a bollard. I doubt he even noticed it. He looked wasted. He just drove on.” [15 oay 2006]
