Would you pay $150,000 for the chance to wear George Clooney’s cast-offs? The Batman costume worn by the star in the 1997 film `Batman and Robin’ is expected to reach $150,000 at an auction. The Batsuit includes nifty extras like nipples, a cape, a hood, gloves, a handy utility belt, and the bat ears. Despite the film flopping, Joe oadalena of auction house Profiles in Histroy has high hopes for the Batsuit. He says, “Clooney is hot. He is the leader of an unofficial Rat Pack. People have fallen in love with him. He is the bad boy we always love. The nominations also help.” [21 February 2006]
