George Clooney is single again after calling off his romance with Lisa Snowdon last week. The couple had attempted to maintain a long-distance relationship for a number of years and it seems things simply got too difficult. In the end, even their break-up was conducted by phone!
Friends say the split is amicable and that the couple intend to remain friends. Lisa has been quite open about her reluctance to leave Britain while George simply cannot abandon the glitzy world of Hollywood. They last saw each other at the beginning of oay but work commitments looked set to keep them apart again for the foreseeable future and both realised the relationship was doomed.
