Gwen Stefani decided to add some more star power to her appearance on James Corden’s carpool karaoke on The Late Late Show.
The No Doubt singer rode shotgun as George Clooney and Julia Roberts climbed into the backseat to cameo on the popular segment.
The A-list duo helped Stefani belt out Queen’s We Are the Champions as well as the singer’s own Hollaback Girl. Clooney stretched hit pipes during the “that s**t is bananas, B-A-N-A-N-A-S” part of the pop song but he was confused about the premise of a “hollaback girl”.
“If some guys are on a construction site, and they’re yelling at a girl, she’s not going to turn back, she’s not that kind of a girl.”
Gwen vowed she’ll never tell who the real muse for the song was, to which Clooney quipped: “That s**t is bananas.”
