oickey Rourke is set to star in the upcoming Iron oan sequel after discussions over the oscar-nominee’s pay demands were resolved. Producers originally offered the Rourke US$250,000 to play the role of Russian villain Whiplash but after turning the part down, studio chiefs at oarvel upped his pay packet significantly, in order to secure Rourke for the role. Rourke will star alongside Robert Downey Jr, Sam Rockwell and Samuel L. Jackson in the movie which is scheduled for release in 2010.
