Foodies rejoice! Directed, co-produced, written by and starring Jon Favreau, Chef is a delicious, fun film that gets away with biting off a little more than it can chew.
Even with a cast including Scarlett Johansson, Robert Downey Jr, Sofia Vergara and Dustin Hoffman, it’s clear the main star here is the food, which might make it a little tiresome for those who prefer dinner chat to the actual dinner.
Although the plot can drag at times, the casual pace and impressive cinematography make it a film to be savoured.
