Following the lead of The A-Team and Starsky & Hutch, 21 Jump Street is yet another movie rehashed from the dregs of a faded TV series, but the difference is this film is genuinely funny. Poking fun at the hokey reboot trend, it centres around the unlikely pairing of earnest funnyman Schmidt (Jonah Hill), and beefcake Jenko (Channing Tatum) as cops who go undercover in a high school to bust a schoolyard drug ring. Laced  with a few cracker one-liners and featuring a Johnny Depp cameo, it might not be reinventing the wheel, but it adds a few extra spokey dokes.
