As the ad says, if you drink and drive, you’re a bloody idiot – and celebs are no exception. The latest star acting the fool is Grammy Award-winning singer Faith Evans, who has been arrested after being stopped at a drink-driving checkpoint in Los Angeles.
After passing through the police check at around 10.40pm, the ‘Love Like This’ singer was taken into custody, had her car was impounded and was released on bail the following morning.
This isn’t the first time Faith (37) has been in trouble with the law. In 2004, she and husband Todd Russaw were arrested on drug-possession charges. While they evaded jail time by entering a rehab programme, Faith later detailed the drama in her single ‘Again’, singing, “And the media tried to say I had a habit, I couldn’t manage and I’m throwing my life away.”
The R&B singer – who is also known as the widow of rapper Christopher Wallace (aka the Notorious BIG) – was not available for comment about the incident.
