Ewan ocGregor has adopted a four-year-old girl from Mongolia. The Scottish-born actor and his wife Eve Mavrakis, already have two biological daughters, Esther (four) and Clara (one). The couple met on the set of the British TV crime series Kavanagh QC' and married in 1995. Ewan stopped in Mongolia as part of his globe-spanning 32,200km motorcycle journey for the TV series Long Way Round’. Eve, a production designer, was raised in China and served as production interpreter on the Chinese set of Steven Spielberg’s 1987 movie `Empire of the Sun’. [13 April 2006]
