Eva Longoria has accepted a proposal from her basketball star boyfriend Tony Parker. “Eva and Tony are officially engaged,” say Eva’s rep. “The couple have never been happier. The proposal was romantic and perfect.” Apparently Tony flew into Los Angeles after his game on Wednesday night and surprised the `Desperate Housewives’ star at her home as she got off work. The couple plans to wed in France next summer in what they describe as a “big, happy ceremony with lots of family and friends.” Eva met Tony in November 2004 and weathered a brief split in September this year. Eva revealed in April she is happiest when in a relationship – and said she expects to stay with Parker “forever.” [1 December 2006]
