You can take the girl out of Britain but you can’t take Britain out of the girl. Despite studying hard in the United States, ‘Harry Potter’ actress Emma Watson says she will always prefer English fashion.
“Before I didn’t have an awareness of another style,” says the budding fashionista. “I think [British style] has to do with the weather. We have terrible weather. It’s very gray and drizzly, so we need things to cheer us up. And I think that leads to a lot of creativity and colour. I think that’s why our designers are so innovative. We have great vintage and we love to mix and match – high street and high fashion, as well as vintage… and I think that really defines it as well.”
But Emma’s homesickness doesn’t just stop at fashion – oddly, she also misses British food! “I miss English chocolate,” she says. Hopefully somebody sent her a special Easter package over the weekend then!
