British actress Emma Thompson may be married to a man seven years younger than herself, but the ‘Love Actually’ star is not a fan of the new cougar trend amongst older women. Despite having some approaches from young men herself, Emma (51) says she thinks women dating men who are young enough to be their sons “seems predatory, and I don’t really approve”. “I’ve had a lot of attention from budding young actors asking about getting on in show business,” says Emma. “It got me thinking about the cougar thing. I am a happily married woman, but, even if I was single, I wouldn’t be up for it.”
