Sir Elton John has begged producers to allow him to guest star in `Desperate Housewives’. The singer is a massive fan of the hit show and has asked star Teri Hatcher to help him get a cameo when she appeared in the video for his single “Turn The Lights out When You Leave.” He says, “It’s so bitchy and funny! I’d love to do Desperate Housewives!” Meanwhile, Marcia Cross (Bree) reckons she may be more like her neurotic ‘Desperate Housewives’ character. She admits she has become obsessed with cleaning and cooking since getting engaged to stockbroker Tom oahoney. She confesses, “I was getting anxious because Tom would come home and I would feel like there should be food on the table.” [11 November 2005]
