‘Grey’s Anatomy’ actress Ellen Pompeo revealed some interesting details about her youth at the Life out Loud benefit in Los Angeles.
“I was raised by drag queens practically,” the star said, talking about her sister’s friends who used to baby-sit her. “There was all kinds of things going on tucking, eyebrow drawing, waxing… All sorts of things. I was literally raised by gay men.”
Ellen added that she cried when co-star TR Knight publicly came out of the closet. “He has such tremendous courage. oost people don’t have to come out to the world like that.”
