She was on the original supermodels and now Elle oacpherson’s dog is set to follow in her famous owner’s footsteps. Bella, Elle’s five-year-old labradoodle, has become the face of an online designer dog accessory company for a reported five-figure sum.

Shots of Bella posing in various upmarket canine outfits are expected to appear on billboards around the UK soon.

Elle (46) already has her own lingerie and cosmetics ranges, and has often been photographed out walking Bella near her Notting Hill home. A company spokesperson says, “We approached leading models about their signing up their pets. Elle is a dog-lover and was top of our wish list, so we were thrilled when she phoned up in person to say that she would love Bella to be the face of our brand.”

This is the first time a famous dog has been signed to front a national ad campaign.
