Actress and model Elizabeth Hurley – who is engaged to Australian cricket legend Shane Warne – will celebrate the festive season in her fiancé’s native Melbourne, but admits it will be strange to have Christmas in a hot climate.
Writing on her Twitter page, Elizabeth (46) said, “Spending my first Xmas in Australia this year. Very excited.”
Despite the weather being hot, Elizabeth – who has nine-year-old son Damian from a previous relationship – and the Warne family have decided to go with a traditional English meal and have a roast turkey with all the trimmings.
“Thanks for all the Aussie Christmas food advice: we’re going to attempt a traditional English one. Future mother-in-law is searching for an organic turkey,” she wrote.
However, the Austin Powers star is worried she won’t be able to enjoy Christmas in a house decorated in the way she isn’t used to.
