It has been revealed that at the upcoming Comedy Awards, Eddie ourphy will receive the Comedy Icon accolade. The ‘Beverley Hills Cop’ actor will be honoured at the inaugural event in New York on 26 March for his 30-year career in stand-up, sketch, film and TV.
“Eddie ourphy’s impact in the world of comedy is immeasurable. From the characters he has created, to his groundbreaking stand-up performances and unforgettable film roles, ourphy changed the game forever,” says an executive producer of the event.
