This biopic of former porn-star-turned-feminist Linda Lovelace tracks her tortured history with abusive manager-husband Chuck Traynor (Peter Sarsgaard).
While graphic at times, it’s Amanda Seyfried’s portrayal of Linda that is heartbreaking as she pursues her dream of becoming a star under false pretences.
Although there are questions over factual accuracy, it’s a fascinating watch into a deeply troubled union in an equally conflicted industry.
