Burlesque babe Dita Von Teese has revealed that after she separated from her rocker husband Marilyn Manson in 2006, after two years of marriage, she took a vow of abstinence to help heal the pain. “After the divorce I was going through complete heartbreak. It changes you, I spent the first year not having sex at all, which was strange as I still continued to convey sex in my work. After a split a lot of men put on a band-aid by getting another woman. I wanted to deal with the break-up and learn from it and I’ve done that now. I wanted to come through it and be able to love again as if my heart had never been broken.” Also in response to the demise of the ill-fated romance she has said, “The only thing is, at the moment I’m definitely not looking at musicians. I’m attracted to normal, sweet-looking guys in sweaters. I’m finished with the leather trousers and eyeliner types. You can have a roller-coaster ride with a guy in a sweater.”
