Actress Denise Richards was supported by her ex-husband Charlie Sheen when she was adopting her daughter.
Denise revealed last month she had adopted baby Eloise Joni and she’s grateful for the backing she received from her Charlie (45), who she divorced in 2006.
She says, “We talk every day. He’s met her. He knows how much I love kids, so he was very supportive.”
The 40-year-old actress revealed the adoption process took two years and there were many times she felt like giving up.
“Some people think if a celebrity wants a baby, they get one the next day,” she told the a US magazine. “The adoption took two years, and there were times I felt discouraged, times when I got close to adopting a baby and it fell through. But I knew the right baby would find us.”
