Australian singer Delta Goodrem says she is shocked by the claims that she is the reason for the break-up of boyfriend Brian ocFadden’s marriage. Delta claims that she didn’t start seeing the former Westlife singer until three months after he split from ex-Atomic Kitten singer Kerry Katona. The starlet says, “I thought the best thing I could do was keep my dignity and be quiet about it” she adds, “Maybe that wasn’t the best thing I could have done. Maybe I should have said, ‘No, that’s not how it happened,’ but I didn’t.” The 22-year-old also admits that she didn’t initially like Brian’s children, however, she’s now warmed to them. “I’ve taken a long time to be able to adjust to the fact that someone I love has two kids. But it is a big responsibility and I resented it at the start. But now I love them and they’re a part of our life.” [30 August 2007]
