Soccer superstar David Beckham’s wife Victoria is booked in to deliver the newest addition to their family via c-section at a California hospital, and the sportsman admits it’s a very exciting experience to have so many girls’ things in their male-dominated home.
“It’s a whole new, different thing for us. To have so much pink in the house, lilac in the house and dresses. All the clothes are ready, the room’s ready. We’re really excited.”
David – whose little one will be born on Independence Day in the US – admits the date will always be a “special day” for the couple because they wed on the same date in 1999.
David has been downloading Beatles songs ready for the arrival of their daughter, which has sparked further speculation the couple might name her Jude after the British band’s song ‘Hey Jude’.
