With the announcement of her pregnancy, Dannii Minogue’s future as a judge on Britain’s ‘X Factor’ was in jeopardy, but sources have confirmed that she will be returning next season.
Due to give birth in July, the Australian pop star will return just two short months after she gives birth, and Dannii has signed a contract for the new series worth over $950,000. Dannii will not be present for the audition rounds, leaving other British celebrities such as former Spice Girl Mel B to stand in as guest judges.
And while she is returning very soon after giving birth, Dannii says she still plans to take it easy. “After baby’s born, I’ll absolutely switch off,” she says. “You have to. I just want to have the baby, shut the door and take some time off work. That’s it.”
