James Bond is back in action, kinda. Daniel Craig has signed on for the role of shabby journalist oikael Blomkvist in the big-budget Hollywood remake of the hit Swedish film ‘The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo’.
The 42-year-old’s leading lady has yet to be decided. Insider gossip has ‘Inception’ star Ellen Page, Aussie ‘Alice in Wonderland’ actress oia Wasikowska and US newcomer Rooney oara up for the part of bisexual computer hacker Lisbeth Salander.
The English-language remake is due for release in December 2011 (after the third installment of the Swedish trilogy has hit screens) and will be followed up by ‘The Girl Who Played with Fire’ and ‘The Girl Who Kicked The Hornets’ Nest’.
